Obituary
Angelina Casias Romero, 85, of La Junta, Colorado passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at her La Junta home. She was born Wednesday, February 15, 1939 in Springer, New Mexico to Frank & Felicita (Cruz) Casias.
Angie is survived by her children, Virginia (Lawrence) Imperial of Santa Fe, NM, Dorothy (Ignacio) Rivera of Phoenix, AZ, Louis Casias of La Junta, Kenny (Sharla) Powell of Rapid City, SD, Robert Powell of La Junta and Shirley Torres of La Junta; 2 sisters; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jose Romero; son, Charles Powell; as well as brothers & sisters.
Graveside Committal Service will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in La Junta with Father Joseph Matitu of Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish officiating.
