Obituary

Leona Anna Trujillo, of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest, September 12, 2024 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado.

She was born to Andra "Andy"  and Leonard Sandoval, December 22, 1965 in La Junta, Colorado. Leona was 58 years of age.

She is survived by her husband, James Grano of La Junta, Colorado, children Amanda (Tyler) Harris of La Junta, Colorado, Andrew Grano of Swink, Colorado , mother Andra "Andy" Sandoval of La Junta, Colorado, grandchildren, Johnnie Bastian of La Junta, Colorado, Alana Grano, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Stephanie Bastian of La Junta, Colorado, Emilia Grano of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lennie “Bear” Bastian of La Junta, Colorado, siblings, Renee (Ross) Martinez, of Denver, Colorado, Michael Sandoval of Palmer Lake, Colorado, Anthoney (Jennifer) Sandoval of Thorton, Colorado, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father Leonard Sandoval.

Leona enjoyed country music, and being around family, especially her grandchildren. She loved hosting birthday parties and enjoyed line dancing. She was a member of the Elks for many years and worked at the Product line for 15 years. She was also a bartender for the Elks. She attended Platt Business College and earned a business degree. She also worked for Citi Bank. She was her mother’s caregiver, and she also loved watching the Denver Broncos. She will be greatly missed.
