Fatal Crash on Larimer County Road 38E near Milner Mountain Ranch Road

(Larimer County, COLO) – On April 27, 2025, at approximately 1:21 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to a crash involving a motorcyclist and a bicyclist on Larimer County Road 38E near Milner Mountain Ranch Road.

The initial investigation shows a Honda CMX1100 motorcycle, driven by a 61-year-old male, traveling eastbound on Larimer County Road 38E. After passing another motorcycle, the Honda was unable to navigate a left-hand curve and traveled onto the right shoulder. The Honda then struck an eastbound bicyclist, identified as a 68-year-old male. The bicycle was a Trek Bicycle.

The motorcycle rider was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The bicycle rider was pronounced dead on scene. The Larimer County Coroner’s office will release the name of the deceased party after proper notifications have been made.
