La Junta Senior Golf League Results Sept 16, 2025

The La Junta Senior Golf League added three new members—Laurie Pearson, Ken Pearson, and Lennie Pearson—on the Tuesday scramble game, which featured 42 players. Each team played nine holes of scramble golf with one mulligan per hole. No one was able to make the challenge chip on hole #9.  Seven golfers succeeded at the challenge putt on hole #4: Fred Boettcher, Bev Tucker, Jay Bollacker, Jenette Bender, Mike Stokes, CaSandra Thomas, and Fred Grantham.

Next week, September 23, the group will meet for another round of golf featuring a par 3 course with some different locations for the tee boxes.  There will also be a special “game” on the practice green.  Registration will be open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
