Obituary

Gerald Allan Garcia (Jerry), aged 60, passed away on September 15, 2025, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa Arizona, born on January 13th , 1965, in Rocky Ford Colorado to Timmie Garcia and George Gerald MacRoberts, Gerald graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1983. In 1987 he earned his LPN license from Walla Walla Community College. In 1991 he earned his RN from Otero Junior College. Gerald was well regarded for his diligent care of his patients. He also had a great love for animals. He is survived by his brother Darren (Shannon) Garcia, Sister Marie (Janet King), Stoll, Nephew Wesley Garcia and numerous cousins.

Gerald was preceded in death by both his parents. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday October 16, 2025,10:00 am at St Peter’s Catholic Church Rocky Ford Colorado with Father Savarimuthu Yesappan HGN & Deacon Terry Marinelli of St Peters Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Rocky Ford Valley View Cemetery.
