Police Execute Search Warrant on East Oak Street in Lamar; Multiple State and Federal Agencies Assist

**Press Release regarding the police activity in the 1100 block of East Oak Street on 01/15/2026**
On 01/15/26 a search warrant was executed in the 1100 Blk of E. Oak St. Agencies participating in the execution of the search warrant include: FBI, FBI Explosives Specialists, ATF Special Agents, ATF Explosive Detection K-9s, ATF Explosives Specialists and Bomb Techs, Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo SWAT Team, Pueblo Bomb Squad and Explosives Specialists, Pueblo County Sheriff's Office Tactical Units, Colorado Bureau of Investigations Agents and Tactical Units, UCHealth LifeLine 4 stand-by medical air assets, Lamar Fire Department and the Lamar Police Department. The Prowers County Sheriff's Office was on stand-by to assist if needed.
The area was restricted to limit access during the execution of the search warrant and locations were evacuated out of an abundance of caution. No current threat exists to public safety.
The Lamar Police Department wishes to extend its sincere gratitude to all assisting agencies and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations for it’s continued assistance and support. The Lamar Police Department will continue to utilize offered assistance from specialized units and outside state and federal law enforcement agencies to continue to make our community safer.
