Tree Creek Fire Near Hwy 160 Contained After Wind-Downed Power Line; Kim Area VFD Responds to Mutual Aid Call
Kim Area Volunteer Fire Dept responded to a mutual aid request by Branson today in area of Hwy 160 and CR 131; Tree Creek Fire. Multiple agencies responded.
We don’t always have a lot of volunteers available but are thankful for all we have.
We sent a Tanker and a brush truck. It appears a downed power line from wind is what started it. It is considered contained at this time and Branson fire will be monitoring.
Winds are supposed to be high again tomorrow. Please watch for smoke.
